Land of Adventure LEGOLAND Florida 2026: Egypt & Dinosaurs

Last Updated: March 16, 2026 | 🏛️ Ancient Egypt | 🦖 Dinosaurs

Land of Adventure at LEGOLAND Florida takes you on a journey to ancient Egypt and mysterious jungles. If your kids love dinosaurs, mummies, or treasure hunting, this area is going to be their favorite. It is one of the park’s most immersive zones, combining intricate LEGO theming with family-friendly thrills.

🏛️ What is Land of Adventure?

Land of Adventure combines Egyptian ruins with jungle exploration. It has that Indiana Jones vibe — ancient temples, hidden treasures, and prehistoric creatures around every corner. The theming includes hieroglyphics, palm trees, and crumbling temples that make you feel transported to another world. Opened with the park in 2011, this area has been a staple of the LEGOLAND Florida experience for over a decade.

The zone sits near the center of the park, making it an easy walk from most other areas. Families often save Land of Adventure for mid-morning or early afternoon when little ones need a break from more strenuous attractions elsewhere in the park.

🎢 Rides and Attractions

Lost Kingdom Adventure 🏹

The star attraction of Land of Adventure! Board a jeep and travel through ancient Egyptian tombs, using your laser blaster to shoot targets and score points along the way. The whole family can ride together in vehicles that seat four, so parents and kids can team up against the competition. You’ll see mummies, scarab beetles, treasure chests, and ancient artifacts come to life in the dark. My kids love competing to see who gets the highest score — and honestly, the adults have just as much fun.

The ride uses the same system as Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin at Disney — a rotating laser blaster that tracks your score on a digital display at the end. Unlike typical dark rides, the vehicles move on a track through multiple themed rooms, each with different targets and interactive elements. It is one of the most elaborate interactive rides in any LEGOLAND park worldwide.

Height Requirement: 30 inches minimum | Under 48 inches must ride with an adult
Type: Interactive Dark Ride
Best for: Kids 4+ and families

Coastersaurus 🦕

A family-friendly wooden coaster that takes you through a prehistoric jungle filled with life-sized LEGO dinosaurs. The T-Rex and Triceratops are particularly impressive — built with thousands of LEGO bricks each. The coaster is smooth enough for younger riders but thrilling enough that kids ask to ride it multiple times in a row. The best views of the dinosaurs are on the left side of the train going into the final helix.

The ride was originally called “Coastersaurus” and has operated since the park opened in 2011. While not the tallest or fastest coaster at LEGOLAND Florida, it consistently ranks as one of the most beloved — especially for families with kids who are tall enough but not quite ready for the bigger coasters.

Height Requirement: 42 inches minimum | Under 48 inches must ride with an adult
Type: Wooden Family Coaster
Manufacturer: Great Coasters International

Beetle Bounce 🪲

A gentle bouncing ride themed around giant scarab beetles. Kids control how high they bounce using a lever — the more they push, the higher they go. It is one of the simplest rides in the park, but younger kids adore the freedom of being in control. The theming is charming, with oversized LEGO beetle characters scattered throughout the queue area. Many families skip this one thinking it is too small, but kids under 36 inches will want to ride it again and again.

Height Requirement: 36 inches minimum | Under 48 inches must ride with an adult
Type: Kid-Powered Bounce Ride

🍽️ Where to Eat in Land of Adventure

The main quick-service restaurant in Land of Adventure is Burgerzi, offering flame-grilled burgers, chicken tenders, and fries. It is one of the better quick-service options in the park for families who want something filling between rides. Dessert and snacks are available at the nearby Pop Pad for ice cream and treats.

🎁 Land of Adventure Merchandise

Before you leave, check out the themed shop at the exit of Coastersaurus. You will find LEGO dinosaur sets, Egyptian-themed merchandise, and exclusive Minifigure packs that you cannot find at the main gift shop. Great for souvenirs without breaking the budget.

🚶 How to Get to Land of Adventure

Land of Adventure is located in the center of LEGOLAND Florida, just past The Beginning and adjacent to LEGO City. If you are entering through the main gate, walk straight past the first few rides and you will see the Egyptian-style temple entrance on your right. The area is fully accessible via the park’s paved pathways, and strollers can navigate easily.
