The Dragon and the Best Rides at LEGOLAND Florida 2022

The Dragon

Despite the fact that The Dragon rollercoaster has been at LEGOLAND Florida since the park’s inception in 2011, it is still regarded as one of the park’s best rides. As soon as you leave the loading station, you’ll notice the extensive Mid-evil LEGO theming, which extends all the way to the four-story lift and drop. It’s no surprise that The Dragon is one of the park’s most popular attractions. It’s easy to see why the ride is a family favorite.

Coastersoarus

A crazy journey through the jungle awaits you with Coastersaurus! It twists and dips its way through a prehistoric forest packed with animated and life-sized LEGO brick dinosaurs on this family-friendly wooden roller coaster. While visiting LEGOLAND Florida, make sure to take part in this kid-friendly thrill ride!

MASTERS OF FLIGHT: THE LEGO MOVIE

Emmet’s Triple Decker Flying Couch awaits you! This flying theater attraction transports guests on an action-packed adventure on a suspended ride with a full-dome virtual screen, giving the sensation of flying alongside some familiar and some new faces, including Sweet Mayhem, a character who first appeared in the feature THE LEGO MOVIE 2: THE SECOND PART. The one-of-a-kind attraction is the first in a major US theme park to incorporate a 180-degree turn into the ride experience.

The Great LEGO Race

Start your engines, Brick fans! On a thrilling roller coaster, become the focal point of an action-packed road rally! The Great LEGO Race immerses guests in an action-packed road rally where the laws of physics and aerodynamics only apply loosely. In 2018, LEGOLAND added a virtual reality overlay to its Project X roller coaster. Passengers wear virtual reality goggles and watch computer-animated visuals of a LEGO-themed race. The VR action mimics the movements of a roller coaster. Visitors who aren’t used to roller coasters may find the wild mouse track layout frightening because the VR goggles will obscure their view and prevent them from seeing the upcoming turns, hills, and drops.

LEGOLAND Miniland USA

Shade from the hot Florida sun is now available at Miniland USA. This structure will keep the LEGO bricks from fading and will provide much-needed shade for the visitors. This will also be an excellent place to visit if and when it rains. Miniland USA has several themed areas made entirely of LEGOs. The Daytona International Speedway in Florida, the Kennedy Space Center, Pirate’s Shores in California, New York, Washington, D.C., and Las Vegas are all on display in every brick detail. It took LEGOLAND more than 20 million bricks to build these nine Miniland USA areas, which are considered the park’s heart.

As an added bonus, below are two more attractions that must be visited but are not included in the normal admission price to LEGOLAND Florida. I thought it was worth mentioning because they are enjoyable experiences that should not be missed.

LEGOLAND Water Park

It’s not huge, but LEGOLAND’s Water Park has enough slides and other wet fun to keep you cool in Florida’s heat and humidity. Attractions like the Build-a-Raft River cleverly incorporate the LEGO theme. It allows passengers to create on their own tubes out of oversized LEGO blocks and then float down the lazy river on them. Splash and slide your way through a day of fun in the sun with a wave pool, lazy river, four slides, and other interactive LEGO play areas!

*Visitors who want to go to the water park must pay an additional fee and cannot purchase water park-only tickets. Luckily you can find discounted LEGOLAND Water Park tickets here.

Peppa Pig Theme Park

Step into the wacky world of Peppa Pig for the ultimate day of fun! Snort, giggle, and play in a theme park specifically designed for “little piggies,” complete with interactive rides and attractions, themed play areas complete with “muddy puddles” water play, and entertaining live shows! Meet Peppa and her family on your child’s best day ever as you create your first theme park memories together! Six rides, six themed playscapes, a water play area, and even more oinktastic experiences have been revealed for the World’s First Peppa Pig Theme Park.

It should be noted that admission to the Peppa Pig Theme Park is separate from admission to the LEGOLAND Florida Theme Park. Luckily you can find discounted Peppa Pig Theme Park tickets here.
