LEGOLAND Florida Brick-or-Treat 2026: Dates, Tips & Deals

LEGOLAND Florida Brick-or-Treat 2026: Dates, Tips & Deals

One question I get every October: “Is Brick-or-Treat actually worth it?” After taking my kids to it five years running, my honest answer is yes, but only if you do it right. Here is what you need to know for 2026.

Brick-or-Treat is LEGOLAND Florida’s Halloween event, running select Saturdays and Sundays in September and October. Think of it as a trick-or-treat trail on steroids, complete with spooky LEGO builds, villain character meet-and-greets, and a special Halloween edition of the LEGO Master Builder Academy. All of it is included with your regular park admission.

2026 Brick-or-Treat Dates

The official 2026 Brick-or-Treat dates had not been announced as of early 2026, but the event typically runs on select Saturdays and Sundays from late September through October. Based on previous years, expect event weekends around:

  • Late September: Two or three weekends
  • October: Weekends through Halloween week
  • Specific dates for 2026 typically release in August

Bookmark the official LEGOLAND Brick-or-Treat page or check the events calendar closer to your planned visit for confirmed dates.

What Makes Brick-or-Treat Worth It

  • Expanded trick-or-treat trail: Longer than a regular park visit, with more treat stations than you would find on a typical day. The trail loops through multiple lands including Land of Adventure, LEGO City, and Pirate’s Cove.
  • Villain character meet-and-greets: Your kids can meet the “bad guys” from LEGO movies and shows. These villain characters are a highlight because they are less common than the heroes, making the meet-and-greet feel exclusive.
  • Spooky LEGO builds: Special Halloween-themed models appear throughout the park, including giant skeleton builds, pumpkin mosaics made from LEGO bricks, and other seasonal displays that do not exist outside of Brick-or-Treat weekends.
  • Master Builder Academy Halloween edition: The regular Master Builder Academy gets a Halloween twist during Brick-or-Treat. Kids build-and-take home Halloween-themed LEGO creations instead of the standard builds.
  • Halloween entertainment stage shows: Seasonal performances on the main stage feature Halloween themes, LEGO animations, and audience participation.

Tips for Making the Most of Brick-or-Treat

  • Sunday visits are less crowded: Saturdays are noticeably busier than Sundays. If your schedule allows, a Sunday visit will give you shorter wait times at treat stations and character meet-and-greets.
  • Arrive at opening: The trick-or-treat trail starts getting crowded by 2:00 PM. A morning start gives you a smoother experience and lets you knock out rides before focusing on the Halloween activities.
  • Bring a flashlight: Some trail sections are genuinely dark. Little ones feel safer with their own light, and it helps parents navigate the more atmospheric areas of the park.
  • Wear comfortable shoes: The trail loops through multiple areas of the park, easily 2+ miles of walking total. Closed-toe shoes are a must.
  • Book the LEGOLAND Hotel early: The on-site LEGOLAND Hotel sells out fast during Brick-or-Treat weekends. If you are planning an overnight stay, book months in advance rather than waiting until September.
  • Bring a trick-or-treat bag: If your kids have a specific Halloween bucket or bag they love, bring it. The treat stations hand out a decent volume of candy, and a dedicated bag helps.

Is Brick-or-Treat Included with Admission?

Yes. Unlike some parks that charge extra for Halloween events, Brick-or-Treat is included with your regular LEGOLAND Florida park ticket. You pay the same price as any regular visit day, and you get the full Halloween experience added on top. This makes Brick-or-Treat one of the better value Halloween events in Central Florida.

Children under 3 are always free. Florida residents should check for resident discount availability, which sometimes includes special pricing on Brick-or-Treat weekend tickets.

Brick-or-Treat vs. Other Halloween Events in Central Florida

Brick-or-Treat is smaller in scale than Halloween events at Disney or Universal, but that is not a criticism. The smaller crowds mean shorter lines, and the LEGO-themed spookiness gives it a distinct character that you will not find anywhere else. If your kids love LEGO, this is the Halloween event to prioritize.

If your kids are under 5, Brick-or-Treat is particularly well-suited. The spooky elements are toned down enough for younger children, and the treat stations are designed for small hands and short attention spans.

What to Bring to Brick-or-Treat

  • A flashlight for each child
  • Comfortable walking shoes
  • An empty bag or bucket for trick-or-treating
  • Layers: evening temperatures in late September and October can drop into the 60s after sunset
  • Sunscreen: daytime October sun can still be strong in Florida
