Legoland Florida is bringing back its Awe-Summer celebration for the summer, complete with shows, activities, themed weekends, and more.
The event, which is free with park admission, has been extended to ten weeks, running from June 4 to August 7. The park had previously scheduled the celebration to begin on June 26. That’s 10 fun filled weeks of LEGOLAND Florida show and special events!
On July 9, Lego City will get a space makeover as part of the Awe-Summer celebration. There will be giveaways and Lego building stations themed to the final frontier and space exploration for one day only. Visitors will also be able to assist in the construction of a massive working Lego telescope.
Other new Awe-Summer offerings include a special celebration for the Lego Group’s 90th anniversary and a fireworks show for Red, White, and Boom! The “Touch the Sky” fireworks display will take place from July 2 to 4. Visitors will be given free glasses that transform the fireworks into exploding Lego bricks.
Activities include:
- Meet and greets with the “Fab Five”
- Join Olivia and build a Lego robot in Robots to the Rescue
- Andrea invites kids to become all-star performers in Top of the Charts
- Stephanie welcomes guests to her movement class in Stephanie’s Step-A-Thon
- Emma encourages youngsters to create their own masterpieces in Emma’s Art Cat-astrophe
- Find hidden treasure as you hunt for clues with Mia and complete the Explorer’s Quest
Time to Learn with Florida Prepaid Schoolhouse Teachers and ninja training academy School of Spinjitzu will also be part of the LEGOLAND Florida Awe-Summer lineup.
The LEGOLAND Florida Awe-Summer event will feature Lego Friends Weekends on Saturdays and Sundays from June 4 to June 26. Character meet-and-greets with the Fab 5, a Lego build, and an art activity are all part of the themed weekend.
Aside from shows and activities, the “Awe-Summer” celebration will include several special treats.
