Heroes Weekend is being hosted by the National Fire Prevention Association at the LEGOLAND Florida Resort, and guests are invited to attend in order to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Fire Prevention Week. Families will get the opportunity to meet a LEGO Policeman, see fireman stilt walkers, help build a gigantic LEGO City mosaic, learn the best ways to keep safe, and hear how they, too, can become heroes during this special event, which will only take place for three days.
WHEN: From September 3 to September 5, 2022
WHAT: This entertaining and educational event is presented by the National Fire Protection Association, as it teaches children about fire safety through a variety of fun activities in LEGOLAND Theme Park. These activities include information from the NFPA’s annual Fire Prevention Week theme about making a home escape plan. All these events are all included in the price of regular day admission to the park.
Event specifics:
- Take a picture with the fireman stilt walkers in front of the NFPA Rescue Academy in the LEGO City area.
- Visit the NFPA Awareness Table to learn more about the annual Fire Prevention Week and what to do when the smoke alarm goes off.
- Brick by brick, assist in creating a LEGO City mosaic.
- Attend a showing of The LEGO City 4D: Officer in Pursuit at the LEGOLAND Fun Town Theater to join the neighborhood LEGO City Police Officers in an outrageous caper across town.
- Outside the LEGOLAND Fun Town Theater, meet the LEGO Policeman.
